Process after Hair Transplantation
Hair should not be washed for the first 3 days after hair transplantation. After three days, the hair is washed once a day. When crusting occurs, hair may be washed twice a day in the first week. Shampoo and lotions used in the washing process should be the products recommended by the doctor.
Nails are not used during washing, and hair is washed by a massage with fingertips and palms. Do not rub the hair with towels, and do not use a hairdryer. Crusting ends approximately within 10 days. The doctor should be informed if the crusting has not ended even after 15 days.
Activities including pool and sea should be avoided for the first 15 days, and the transplanted area should be protected from intense UV rays. After three weeks, the transplanted hair begins to shed.
